I'm voting for PB&J
Here's a great way to think about energy consumption, conservation, and all the greenness that we (or at least I) seem to be surrounded by these days... I mean, for God's sake it was on Project Runway! It's getting pretty pervasive nowadays.
Anyway, The PB&J Campaign is reminding us that animal products are energy inefficient. They state that "eating 5 PB&Js or other plant-based lunches a month (instead of an animal based lunch) will save more water than switching to a low-flow showerhead."
So, join the PB&J Campaign! Take the pledge! Or at least, read about their novel idea. Not to mention the fact that I am now reminded of how much I do in fact like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Yum!
